How to service and repair the Throttle Position Sensor on Ford Explorer?

Service and repair of the Throttle Position Sensor requires starting with battery ground cable disconnection. During service, the initial step requires complete removal of the accelerator control snow shield. First disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor connector followed by removing the sensor from its place. When installing turn all steps of the removal process in reverse order.
