First eliminate the bolt from the interior door handle before placing the handle to the side. Cable connections for the interior door handle should be removed before completely extracting the handle. Start by placing the new interior door handle then connect the actuating cable. Install the bolt on the handle only loosely to hold its position before you can reinstall the door trim panel. Check that inside door handle alignment pins lie directly in the middle of the front door trim panel before you tighten the interior door handle bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
