2006 Ford Five Hundred Turn Signal Switch Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2006 Ford Five Hundred?
A: The first step to fix or maintain the turn signal switch starts with steering wheel removal. The instrument cluster finish panel should be removed along with the steering column upper shroud as an assembly after unscrewing the 2 instrument cluster finish panel screws and pressing the upper steering column shroud sides to separate it from the lower shroud. The lower steering column shroud can be removed by removing its 3 retaining screws before taking out the shroud itself. Start by disconnecting the 3 electrical plugs before uninstalling the multifunction switch with its 4 retaining screws. Reverse installation steps should be performed to finish the operation.
