How to service and repair the throttle body on 2006 Ford Fusion?

To remove the throttle body, empty the cooling system, take off the air cleaner outlet pipe as well as the battery ground cable. Unplug the electronic throttle control connector and coolant hoses and loosen the throttle body bolts and gasket. Install the new throttle body, a new gasket and tighten the bolts to 10 Nm and repeat the steps in reverse.
