How to service and repair the intake manifold on 2006 Ford Fusion?

In order to service the intake manifold, lift the vehicle in neutral, unplug the battery and take out the air cleaner outlet pipe. Disassemble different parts, such as the brake booster vacuum tube, electrical connectors and hoses. Take out the intake manifold, and dispose used gaskets and repeat the process with new gaskets.
