Start by removing the spare tire followed by disconnecting both the rear fuel tank vapor tube together with the fuel tank pressure sensor assembly from the EVAP canister quick connect coupling. First disconnect the electrical connector from EVAP canister vent solenoid before unlocking the EVAP canister and bracket assembly with its retaining bolts which should tighten to 14 Nm (10 lb-ft) upon final reinstallation. Disconnect the dust separator hose from the EVAP canister and bracket assembly while removing this unit. Then separate the vent solenoid by removing it from the canister. Use the bracket to unfasten the canister from its position. The installation process should be finished by reversing the steps used for removal.
