How to Service the PCV Valve on 2006 Ford Ranger?

The first step to service the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is to disconnect the PCV valve electrical connector followed by the PCV valve tube from the valve. The installation of a new PCV valve becomes necessary when the valve is detached from its position on the cam cover. After rotation of the valve you can remove it from its location. The installation process for the new valve follows the opposite steps of removal.
