How to Service the Sunroof Air Deflector on 2006 Lincoln Navigator?

A user must start servicing the sunroof or moonroof windguard by opening the roof opening panel. The service on the sunroof and moonroof windguard begins by removing two tether screws from the air deflector starting with the right-hand side with the left-hand side matching this design. Reinstall the sunroof or moonroof windguard by tightening screws to 1 Nm (9 lb-in). You should elevate the front section of the air deflector then guide it backwards and lift it to remove it from the pivot shafts. The service completion requires following all removal steps in reverse order.
