How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Hose from the Fluid Cooler to the Reservoir Return on 2006 Lincoln Navigator?

The service and repair of the power steering line between the power steering fluid cooler and power steering fluid reservoir return hose requires disabling the electrical power to the air suspension system through the air suspension switch found at the left-hand rear quarter trim panel which switches to OFF because failing to do so may cause air spring inflation or deflation unexpectedly leading to personal injury hazards. Place the vehicle in NEUTRAL mode before hoisting it. A proper suction tool should remove power steering fluid from the reservoir before you remove the three reservoir bolts and tighten them to 8 ft. lbs. when installing them back. Separate the clamp and disconnect the power steering return line from its connection at the reservoir. The installation for Navigator vehicles requires removal of pushpins together with the deflector shield. Cut the clamp then detach the power steering return line from both the power steering cooler and frame rail retainer before removing the line from its place. The power steering system requires filling after reversing the installation procedure.
