  A: Before starting to service the right exhaust manifold you should place the vehicle in neutral position on a hoist. Make the following steps to remove the drive belt: detach the battery's black negative cable followed by a clockwise rotation of the drive belt tensioner. Detach the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector along with the electrical connector from the A/C compressor. Start by taking off the bolt from the transmission cooler tube bracket before removing the nut to set the assembly aside with the tube. Begin by removing three bolts that will position the A/C compressor to a side position before removing the catalytic converter-to-exhaust manifold nuts to set aside the catalytic converter flange. The process ends with removing the eight nuts from the exhaust manifold along with a new gasket and discarding all components. To install this component first place an exhaust manifold gasket together with the exhaust manifold then secure the unit with eight nuts using a tightening sequence of 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Position the catalytic converter flange while installing the catalytic converter-to-exhaust manifold nuts which need tightening to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.). First install the A/C compressor using bolts that reach 25 Nm torque before placing the transmission cooler tube assembly and nut with proper torque of 9 Nm. Fasten the transmission cooler tube bracket bolt to 15 Nm torque before tightening it to 11 ft. lbs. Reinstall the A/C compressor electrical connector together with the CKP sensor electrical connector. Lock the drive belt tensioner clockwise direction and install the drive belt before reconnecting the negative terminal cable.
