How to Service the Redundant Front Passenger Fore/Aft Seat Switch for the Signature L and Executive L on 2006 Lincoln Town Car?

You must open the armrest before removing four screws and the armrest tray door assembly of Signature L and Executive L models to service the main front passenger fore/aft seat control switch. The procedure requires two rubber bumper removal and wrenching out the two screws that live underneath them. After clipping removal you can place the armrest tray into position to reach the redundant seat control switch. At first disconnect the wire connector from the redundant seat control switch and then take out the physical switch to proceed. The installation will finish once you undo every step from the removal process.
