How to Service the Door Jamb Switch on 2006 Lincoln Town Car?

Service of the door ajar switch starts with removing either the front panel or rear panel from the door trim. First perform the step of disconnecting the electrical connector attached to the door ajar switch. First detach the screw which holds the door ajar switch to the door. Next pull out the switch from its holder. The service is completed by performing the steps in reverse order from removal.
