How to Service the A/C Accumulator in the HVAC System on 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis?

To service the HVAC suction accumulator, make sure that the vehicle is on a neutral on a hoist. Turn off the power to the fire suppression system, reclaim refrigerant, and remove inlet and outlet fitting, discarding the O-rings. Take out the A/C cycling switch connector and 3 bolts. Install new O-rings, lubricate and refill the system.
