2006 Mercury Grand Marquis PCV Valve Hose Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the PCV Valve Hose on 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis?
A: The starting point in servicing crankcase ventilation tubes is to release the quick connect coupling from the throttle body inlet tube followed by the LH valve cover crankcase vent tube nipple before extracting the tube. The removal of RH crankcase ventilation tube begins with unfastening the quick connect coupling from TB adapter before releasing it from the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve before removing the tube. For installation of the tubes repeat the steps of uninstaling the LH and RH crankcase ventilation tubes in the reverse order.
