When servicing PCV valve hose, the first step is to take out the engine appearance cover. The second step is to remove the idle air control tube of the air cleaner outlet tube. Next, pull out the crankcase ventilation pipe out of the air cleaner outlet pipe and the valve cover. These steps are reversible to install.

How to Service and Repair the PCV Valve Hose on Mercury Grand Marquis?

To service and repair crankcase ventilation tubes: To access the tube on the left side, loosen quick-connects at the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe and valve cover fitting, and loosen. In the case of the right-hand tube, remove quick-connects at PCV valve and Throttle Body (TB) spacer and then disconnect. Install the 2 tubes as follows but in reverse.
