How to remove and install the Center Console Base in all on 2006 Mercury Mariner?

Removing the floor console requires moving the seats forward, undoing rear bolts, disconnecting the battery and setting the parking brake. On the Mariner, take away the top panel; in the case of the Escape, the storage bin and finish panel, unscrew the connectors and take out the six bolts. Reverse to install.
