The first step includes placing the vehicle in neutral gear while preparing it on a hoist system then using a jack stand to maintain the muffler and tailpipe assembly. Start by loosening the Torca clamp and replacing it with new parts having the same original part number before tightening the fasteners to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). First disconnect both front and rear muffler isolators then inspect them for any sign of wear because worn components need replacement. Then remove both the resonator isolator and the assembly of muffler and tailpipe.
