The air inlet duct service should start by disabling the fire suppression system when present. Set the vehicle on NEUTRAL gear position on a hoist before extracting the plenum chamber. You must first detach the RH front wheel and tire before you proceed to remove all fender apron bolts. You must first take out the bolt before removing the screws and pin-type retainer to allow cowl top cover relocation for access to the air inlet duct nut. After removing the first nut you should take out the second nut by carefully setting the harness cover to the side before completing the removal. The air inlet duct removal starts inside the vehicle by removing the bolt and separating the wire harness and electrical connectors from the duct. Fire suppression system repowering should follow the removal tasks. The installation of the new air inlet duct should follow all steps in reverse order of removal.
