How to Service and Repair an Air Duct on Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to service the air inlet duct, pull off the plenum chamber, right front wheel, and tire. Re-position the fender apron and loosen screws and cowl top cover to reach the duct nut. Disassemble the wiring harness and connectors to get rid of the recirculation air duct. Install it in reverse.

The intake air duct, to service and repair, requires firstly removal of the idle air control valve inlet tube followed by the crankcase ventilation hose. Unclamp the air cleaner outlet tube and unscrew the clamps. Natural gas engines are similar with the process. To install, just reverse and carry out the removal process.
