Service of the air inlet duct begins with deactivating the fire suppression system when present. Secure the vehicle with the transmission set to neutral position on the hoist system. The service on the air inlet duct starts with removing the plenum chamber and continuing with right-hand front wheel and tire extraction. The next step requires taking out the bolts to move the fender apron until the bolt can be removed. The cowl top resonator pin-type retainer and screws should be removed for the purpose of positioning the cowl top cover so that inspectors may access and remove the air inlet duct nut. Before you remove another nut from the harness cover you must place it aside then take out the third nut. Inside the vehicle you need to undo the bolt along with the detachment of the wire harness and electrical connectors for removing the air inlet duct. The fire suppression system should receive power repowering when the removal is finished. Reinstallation of the new duct requires following the opposite sequence of removal procedures.
