How to service and repair the automatic transmission shifter on 2007 Ford E-150?

In order to fix the automatic transmission shifter, unattach the battery and move the steering wheel. Take out the headlamp knob, switch bezel and audio unit. Take off the instrument cluster finish panel and ignition switch lock cylinder. Take out the transmission range selector lever making sure to install a new pin and reverse the steps to install.
