2007 Ford E-150 Wiper Switch Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Wiper Switch on 2007 Ford E-150?
A: Begin the wiper switch servicing process by putting off power to the supplemental restraint system (SRS). To handle the lock cylinder from the ignition switch, start by inserting the key followed by turning the ignition switch to the RUN position and using a punch to push and extract the release tab. When necessary, remove both the tilt release lever and handle. Begin by removing all three screws from the steering column shrouds, then remove the two screws present on the multi-function switch, tighten the new switch to 3 Nm (27 inch lbs.) throughout installation. The electrical connectors connected to the multi-function switch need removal before reversing the uninstallation steps for reinstallation. Last of all, reset the functions of the supplemental restraint system (SRS).
