After removing the bolt from the ground terminal need to preserve this component while fastening it at 10Nm (89 lb-in) before reinstalling it. After releasing the nut you should place the BJB cable terminal to the side before tightening it to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during the installation process. The starter solenoid terminal service begins by removing the cover then the nut to put the terminal aside before securing it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). The battery cable starter motor terminal nut requires removal after which you should place it aside when reinstalling the nut at a torque of 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). The reinstallation requires tightening the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) during its placement of the battery cable engine ground terminal aside. First release the battery cable from the top of the intake manifold then free up the three battery cable locators from the LH valve cover. First step involves placing the generator protective cover to the side before removing the nut which leads to setting the generator B+ terminal aside. Tighten this and the generator B+ terminal to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) when reinstalling it.
