Removing the starter solenoid terminal cover yields access to the nut which allows the battery cable starter solenoid terminal to be set aside before tightening to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Place the nut of the battery cable starter motor terminal safely aside while tightening it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) when installing. First detach the bolt for the battery cable engine ground terminal from the engine and set it aside with a tight torque of 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) when reattaching.
