How to service and repair the muffler and tailpipe on 2007 Ford Expedition?

In order to service the muffler and tailpipe, lift the vehicle in neutral. Eliminate transfer case skid plate where there is the presence of one. Unscrew the tailpipe/resonator, weight the muffler, and unscrew the Y-pipe bolts. Install the new muffler, with worn isolators replaced, and with all parts firmly fixed with prescribed torque.
