To fix the shift cable seats position the car in neutral and open the panel in the center console and unplug the lever of the cable of the switch. In 6R60 and 5R55S transmissions, strip the cable shield off and disconnect the cable to the manual lever. Install the cable again, and make sure it is well connected.
