- Q: How to service the rear door Power Window Motor on 2007 Ford Five Hundred?A: Service of the rear door window motor requires starting with removal of the rear door trim panel and door speaker. Set the lock rod downward to position the shaft into the door lock linkage slot before pulling out the lock rod. Start by disconnecting the door lock and rear window motor electrical connectors then take out the three door latch screws and the access hole cover. Stand the door window glass down until a clear visibility of the glass clamp bolt through the access hole plug before unscrewing the bolt while tightening it to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) for reassembly. Disassemble the five wiring harness retainers and grommet before securing a tape to the window glass. When putting back the interior door handle bolt apply a tightening torque of 7 Nm (62 lb-in). After removing the eight door module bolts you should re-tighten them at 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Users should push the wiring harness, grommet and interior door handle with cable through appropriate holes in the rear door module before taking out the door module. The installation requires following procedures in the reverse order of removal.
