Lower the lock rod with a downward rotation to match the shaft with the door lock linkage slot before pulling the rod out from its position. The service requires you to disconnect the door lock and rear window motor electrical connectors before you remove the three door latch screws along with the access hole cover. When the door window regulator motor stops functioning, users should lower the window glass down to reach the glass clamp bolt through the access hole plug before loosening the bolt while keeping tension at 9 Nm (80 lb-in). After taping the window glass in position disconnect the five wiring harness retainers together with the wiring harness grommet. The car mechanic should remove the interior door handle bolt but must apply 7 Nm tension (62 lb-in) before reinstalling it. After bolt removal of the door module you should retain the eight bolts before tightening them at 8 Nm (71 lb-in) through reinstall. Follow this procedure to enable passage of wiring harness and grommet together with interior door handle and cable in the rear door module before removing the door module. The installation process ends with performing the direct opposite of the removal procedure.
