How to service the front Power Window Motor on Ford Five Hundred?

Start front door window motor servicing by taking out the door trim panel together with the water shield. The electrical connector of the window motor should be disconnected while you tape the glass into its current position. You should uninstall the three window motor screws before tightening them to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) upon reinstalling these components. The needed removal practice should be repeated during the installation process of the window motor. A new LH front window motor installation requires an initialization procedure. To reset the original LH front window motor it requires de-initialization before restarting the initialization process. The LH front window motor needs both de-initialization and re-initialization procedures in all situations where it leaves the window regulator drum housing or any changes occur to the window regulator or glass run or top run or when adding new grease or lubricants to these components.
