Service of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor requires a vehicle position in NEUTRAL on a hoist. Begin the service of the MAF sensor by disconnecting its ground cable and its electrical connector. The MAF sensor needs installation after removing its two screw retainers and sensor removal. The new sensor installation includes tightening screws to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) followed by carrying out the removal process in reverse order to complete the installation.
