How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2008 Ford Focus?

The position of the vehicle on a hoist should be done with the transmission in NEUTRAL gear. You need to unplug the MAF sensor electrical connector before untightening its two retaining screws to remove the sensor. During the new sensor installation follow these steps by screwing the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) then perform the sensor removal actions in reverse order to complete the installation.
