The brake caliper flow bolt should be removed first then set the brake hose to the side together with the two copper washers which will need to be discarded. Unbolt both guide pin bolts securing the brake caliper and remove this bracket part. Check for leaking or damaged caliper piston boots during inspection because the replacement with new disc brake caliper is necessary. Place the caliper piston notch directly against its pin on the rear of the inboard brake pad while making sure the brake caliper hose remains untwisted before installing the caliper onto its anchor plate. Affix the two brake caliper guide pin bolts at 26 Nm (19 ft. lbs.) before using two copper washers to mount the brake hose followed by installation of the brake caliper flow bolt which needs to be tightened at 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
