How to Service and Repair the Automatic Transmission Shift Knob on 2007 Ford Mustang?

Removing the shift knob and selecting lever assembly will be required to repair the automatic transmission shifter. Disassemble transmission control switch connector. Plug it in again and make sure the wire fits. Tighten the screw of the knob with 3 Nm (27 inch lbs) and put the selector lever assembly back in the vehicle.
