Secure the front door window glass at the highest possible point through application of tape. Disassemble the window glass connection to the regulator assembly with special attention to opening the clamp fasteners on the inner door panel slots and securely tightening them to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) for windows replacement. The front door window electrical connector needs disconnecting before moving forward with the removal of window regulator bolts. Keep the tightened torque at 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) when reattaching the window regulator. The final step consists of taking out the front door window regulator and motor before reinstalling it by following the reverse steps of removal.
