Dismantle the brake caliper brake cable by first extending the parking brake lever and then pulling the cable from its connection to the lever and taking off the cable connector. Avoid damage by not allowing the brake caliper to drop from the brake hose before you remove the two bolts from the brake caliper anchor plate so you can set the brake caliper assembly including pads and anchor plate supported by mechanic's wire. You should proceed by taking out the two brake disc screws along with the brake disc itself. Before mounting a new brake disc check that the brake disc-to-hub mounting surface lacks corrosion and debris then apply anti-seize lubricant. Use the two brake disc screws to fasten the new brake disc while securing them at 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
