How to service and repair the starter motor on 2007 Lincoln Navigator?

To service the starter motor, make sure the vehicle is on a hoist and in neutral. Take out the battery, take off the starter cover and disconnect electrical connections. Take off the starter motor, and reinstall it in bits with bolts. Reconnect electric connections and the battery ground cable.
