How to service the windshield wiper motor on 2007 Lincoln Navigator?

A serviceman needs to remove two parts before starting the windshield wiper motor maintenance work. Before taking wiper motor crank off the windshield wiper motor it needs to be marked for reference. After disconnecting the crank remove the bolt but follow up by tightening it to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) before reimplementing it. The windshield wiper motor securing bolts must be removed before installation where you should apply torques at 15 Nm (11 lb-ft). When installing the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft it is essential to maintain the same position for the windshield wiper motor crank. Perform the installation by reversing all steps of the removal sequence.
