A proper connection break can be achieved by pulling upward during tab squeeze while making twisting motions to remove the six spark plug wires that are resting on the ignition coil. The next procedure consists of unbolted the four fasteners which hold the ignition coil in position. Users should fasten new ignition coil bolts at a torque of 6 Nm (53 lb-in). Silicone dielectric compound needs application to the inside areas of ignition coil boots in preparation for installing the ignition coil using the reverse order of removal steps.
