The correct installation of the spark plug wires requires marking their positions for effective connection to specific ignition coil terminals. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring electrical connector from the ignition coils.

Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector and remove the four bolts securing the ignition coil.

Reverse the removal procedure and apply silicone dielectric compound to the inside of the spark plug wire boots.

Remove the two bolts, the stud bolt, and the ignition coil.

It is important to twist the spark plug wire boots while pulling upward to avoid possible damage to the spark plug wires.

Squeeze the locking tabs and twist while pulling upward.

The radio ignition interference capacitor should be reinstalled under the correct mounting bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

Begin by disconnecting the ignition coil electrical connector and the radio noise suppressor electrical connector.

Disconnect the ignition coil electrical connector and the radio noise suppressor electrical connector.

Reverse the removal procedure for installation.
