Start the procedure by unfastening the battery grounding cable followed by fuel system pressure reduction. The procedure begins by disconnecting the fuel tube-to-fuel rail quick connect coupling and continuing with removal of the upper intake manifold. Each of the six fuel injector electrical connectors should then be separated. Proceed with the removal of four bolts securing the fuel rail after you detach the fuel rail assembly with its accompanying injectors.
