How to service the brake light switch on 2008 Ford Expedition?

In order to service the brake light switch, unscrew the electrical connector and press the plunger with 1-4 N (1-3 lb) of force on the brake pedal. Turn the switch 45 degrees clockwise to take it out. To install, do not touch the brake pedal assembly and rotate the switch 45 degrees to the counterclockwise position and then reconnected.
