How to Service the Rear Crossmember and Front Cross-Member for Transmission Support on 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

To service the transmission support crossmember make sure the vehicle is in neutral on a hoist. Take out the heat shield bolts and transfer case skid plate then support the transmission. Take the transmission mount nuts and crossmember bolts off and re-fit tightening them to the required torque. Uninstallation Reverse the steps to install.
