2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty Blower Motor Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service the blower motor on 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty?
A: The blower motor service requires removing the RH lower instrument panel insulator and the RH lower A-pillar junction box trim cover as the first steps. Move the carpet that lies below the blower motor aside to get access to the dash panel insulator and afterward move the insulator out of the way. Start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the blower motor followed by unclipping the vent tube and removing it. Twist the blower motor to the left in order to unhook it from the heater core and evaporator core housing before pulling it out. Clean corrosion from the shaft end of the wheel before you can take it off for reusing purposes. The blower motor wheel needs both the push clip and wheel separation from the motor. The blower motor installation should begin by performing the reverse steps of removal.
