The service procedure requires the removal of the ACM and then the passenger air bag module and right-hand instrument panel end panel when there is no electric heater present. Achieve access to the right-hand outer register duct through the removal sequence of outer screw followed by inner screw after which remove the right-hand center instrument panel duct. All vehicles require removal of right-hand temperature blend door actuator screws before disconnecting its electrical connector and extracting the actuator itself. Reverse the process performed during uninstallation in order to complete the installation.
