How to Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2008 Ford Mustang?

To service the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor position the vehicle in neutral on a hoist. Uncouple the CKP sensor connector, and take out the two binding bolts. In the case of the new sensor, screw the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) and repeat the reverse procedure of completing the installation process.
