How to service and repair the clutch disc and pressure plate on 2008 Ford Ranger?

In order to service the clutch disc and pressure plate, take off the transmission. Removal of bolts should be done to prevent the damage of diaphragm springs. Index-mark parts if reusing. Check and wipe parts, changing the damaged parts. Put lubrication on the input shaft bearing, position the pressure plate, fit the clutch disc and tighten bolts before replacement of the transmission.
