When servicing the connecting rod bearings they are removed by removing the oil pan as well as the nuts that hold the oil pan baffle. The connecting rod bearing caps are a pair, be careful with them. Before installation, lubricate the bearings with clean engine oil and be sure it is well oriented. Install the baffle of oil pan and oil pan.
