In order to service the connecting rod bearings, take off the oil pan nuts and baffle nuts. Take the bearing caps off with the greatest care, and pull the piston back, to remove the bearings. Apply clean oil to new bearings, fit in place in proper position and use nuts to hold them. Install the baffle and the oil pan again.
