You should begin by removing the thermostat housing-to-lower intake manifold bolts before progressing to the lower intake manifold bolt sequence numbering ten pieces. Dispose of the gaskets on both the intake manifold and thermostat housing before cleaning and inspecting all the surrounding sealing surfaces. Use new intake manifold and thermostat housing gaskets when installing the lower intake manifold with its ten bolts which should be tightened according to a specified sequence at 10 Nm (89 lb-inch). Afterward install the two bolts which link the thermostat housing to lower intake manifold and secure them at 10 Nm (89 lb-inch). You should finish the process by filling and bleeding the cooling system after reinstallation of the fuel rail.
