2008 Lincoln Navigator Air Deflector Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the Sunroof Air Deflector on 2008 Lincoln Navigator?
A: The service of a sunroof or moonroof windguard starts by opening the roof opening panel. The service begins by removing two plastic air deflector screws with right-hand illustration and left-hand installation which follows the same steps. Use 1 Nm (9 lb-in) torque when resecuring the sunroof and moonroof windguard screws. The air deflector must be lifted from its front end and slid towards the rear before lifting it completely to remove it from the pivot shafts. The installation process ends with a reverse application of the uninstalling steps.
